In my experience, spending time with an animal each day makes that day a whole lot nicer.
When I moved into this neighborhood, word spread quickly through the streetcat community that a cat lover was in their
midst. There were more street cats around than I ever could have imagined. I have been taking them off the street and
re-homing them since shortly after I moved here. Shelters here euthanise unsocialised kitties, so it was me or certain
death for each of them. I have assisted in re-homing many of the street cats over the last few years, and adopted some
myself (see the daytime stars link). It's now time to move, and I do not wish to leave the rest of this street's cats behind
on the street to suffer & multiply. And I need your help to be able to accomplish that!
I am not an organization of any sort, nor am I associated with any such group. Though I have contacted many over the
years, unfortunately they have been unable to assist with re-homing these kitties. Many kitties are euthanized in this state
each year, and most organizations are kept incredibly busy just trying to rescue as many as they can from the pounds.
I am simply an individual, taking a couple months of work for this project and hoping that when others watch these
adorable needy kitties on the streetcatcam, that they will also believe that these cats deserve rescue and help if they can!
