Sabrina's Blog for 13 September 2006
I'm blogging on behalf of all the kittens today.  My sisters and I have been having a great time appearing on the
StreetCatCam.  There are plenty of toys being tossed around all day, but we still find plenty of time to get into
mischief.  Today, we learnt that window blinds are capable of taking revenge!  My sisters and I had been
climbing on the window screen (which our human friend had to have repaired about 3 months ago, and which we
have already broken again!), when we decided that getting caught up in, and swinging around in the window blinds
looked like a lot more fun.  So we gave it a try, and the window blinds got really angry.  They crashed to the
ground, hitting the windows as they came down and making a massive noise.  We were all so scared and ran for
our lives.  We thought that the window blind was so angry that it might chase us and/or coming looking for us
with a view to scaring us even more, so we all hid in the best spots we could find and didn't come out for ages.
So, our motto for today, is don't make the window blinds angry.
There are kittens just like us, including 2 that look just like me still living on the street.  They could entertain
you the way we entertain our human friend!  If you would like to rescue one, please contact our human friend at
kittyconcierge@kittiesinthehood.com.
I love to perform, and I love beans, so please watch out for my special scheduled performances of "Sabrina
Wants a Bean!"
.  Times will be posted on the home page.
Jake's Blog for 25 September 2006
Sorry its been awhile between blogs, but our human friends been on the computer all the time updating this site,
so we haven't had a chance to do our typing.
Our human friend's been a bit down this week.  She still hasn't had 1 inquiry about our friends on the street and
she worries about them so much and whether or not they will get homes before its too late.
My mom Tabitha, was a pretty wild street cat, and was soooo happy to come live here.  She got cancer a few
months after we were born and she was really happy to be looked after in her time of need.
We're all hoping our human friend gets the email she dreams of one day soon...it reads "I love cats and will take
the first street cat you can trap!"  Please, be the one to send her that email.  If our human friend is anything to
judge by, a street cat in your home will make you very happy!
I'm going to go nose nuzzle some kittens now & let our human friend back on the computer again.
Meow for now,
Jake

Samantha's Blog for 12 September 2006
My first ever blog!  I get to go first because I'm the top cat in the house...I was the first of us to move in &
I'm the oldest!  You can find out more about me on
"The Daytime Stars" link.
We are all having so much fun this week, and hopefully you are enjoying watching us as much as we are enjoying
letting you into our world.  We have been waiting a long time for the StreetCatCam to get off the ground, our
person friend discovered that putting live streaming video onto a webpage was not such an easy thing!
You probably won't see me on the cam in the daytime as much as you see my kitten friends, Angel, Sabrina &
Sweetie....they have so much kitten energy & I think you'll enjoy watching them play as much as I do!
Angel's been doing a new thing for attention the last couple of days...she vomits from great heights!  On the
weekend she vomited from over the side of the dining table and all over the telephone keyboard, then
yesterday, she got herself on top of the fridge and watched her vomit drop about 5 feet and splat onto the
kitchen floor!  Thankfully, our person friend cleaned it up before the others had a chance to nibble on it.
I used to live on the street also, and 2 of my siblings are still out there and I'm really hoping that the
StreetCatCam makes you want to take one or both of them into your home.  They both have wonderful mellow
natures like me and would be so grateful to become part of your family!  Please let my human friend know if you
can help.
I'm ready for a nap now.

Precious' Blog for 2 October 2006
My first blog!  I want to start by giving everyone out there helping get my mates off the street a big
purrrrrrrrrr!  I'm the most recent street cat in the family and I'm really loving it!  I'm so enjoying my new
friends, Jake, Sam & Star, but so hoping my old mates on the street get loving homes like I did.  I hung out with
them for awhile, and I can assure you that they are a really great group of kitties that deserve great homes.
Life out there is scary and many of my friends didn't make it.   Taryn was my best friend and I really miss her.
My human friend & I are in the process of making you a video clip featuring me, showing you how much I love to
be patted.  A lot of people have tried to tell my human friend that you can never make a pet of a street cat, and
the clip sure proves them wrong!!  In fact, I now qualify as the most smoochy cat in the house, not just with my
human friend, but also with all my new kitty friends!!  Once I knew I could trust my human friend, I began to
relax and enjoy life like I never have before.   When mom feeds me, I always give her a big thank you before I
eat.  Please help my friends be able to do the same!
And by the way, our human friend got the email Jake spoke about last week!  And it was even better than she
dreamed of, because it said "I'll take 2", not 1.   She's starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel and seems
really happy, but tired!
Well, now I really need to go do some more smooching!

Sweetie's Blog for 8 October 2006
Hi Everyone!  Its been a happy but busy week here with so many people now helping mom getting the kitties
from the street into safety!  Thanks to everyone doing that....my mom was a street kitty and I'm sure glad she
isn't anymore!
Some of you are probably wondering why the fridge is in the centre of the kitchen...there is a very good
explanation for that...you see, just as we feared, the blinds came back for revenge again on Friday.  Sabrina
thought she was being nice to them, and only playing with them, but then, without warning, they got angry and
they violently attacked her again by crashing down on top of her with no warning at all.  We all were really
frightened and ran to hide from them.  We had just started to relax again when the man came around to fix them,
but when he picked the blinds up, we freaked out like we never have before....we ran for our lives....Sabrina
found the best hiding spot of all of us, she jumped from the microwave to the top of the fridge...from there she
got through a small area to the back of the shelving on top of the fridge, from there it was a short jump to a
small opening to the area in the laundry room ceiling panelling near where the other side of the light fixtures
are, and from there she got herself into the air vent tunnel!  Our human friend hit sheer panic when she realised
what had happened...she had to dob herself into the Real Estate for "looking after a friend's kitten" to try to
get the building plans to find out where Sabrina may have gone!  Thankfully, at about 4:50pm, after missing
almost 4 hours, mom heard the crinkling sound of a kitten coming out of the vent, and went from panic to elation!
Mom thought we'd calmed down enough to put the fridge back in place on Saturday morning, but when she
returned from breakfast, Sabrina was covered in dust & cobwebs, so the fridge is back in the kitchen til she
can get someone to close off the openings!
Oh, and we just adore our new friend Mack...he's really mellow & cool & we hope  he gets a great forever home!
I took some pics of the air vent my sister got into!
Meow,
Sweetie
